Life Models, Formative Experiences and Instruments for Growth
In our group discussion, we shared about interiority and the construction of young peoples project of life.
One of the good aspects of being young is the capacity to dream and work for its fulfilment.
Yes, it would be interesting to know what would be these desires and dreams. How would they visualize themselves after 5 or 10 years? And what should they start doing now in order to attain that dream?
This little reflection will show us somehow what are the values they are holding on to and how mature they are in facing and projecting their future because the capacity of making decisions depends on their inner maturity. From here, the educator also could find out what would the young be in need of as they express their own worth and their visualization of themselves in the future.
“Experience is the best teacher”, as the old saying goes. And perhaps, our old buddies (educators and parents) here can share with us some of the things they have learned in life.
How did your parents influence you? Could you cite some of your personal lived-faith experience that moved you to such a conviction of faith?
